Victor Dordonne, 27, has lived his entire life with curly hair, an experience marked by ups and downs.
From childhood to adulthood, through the various stages of his personal and professional life, his curly hair has always been a sensitive subject.
His Franco-Spanish mother never knew how to care for her mixed-race hair, while his father swore by Marseille soap to maintain his kinky hair. As a result, it was difficult for him to embrace his hair, let alone maintain it properly. Passionate about hairdressing, he now specializes in the care of curly, coily, and kinky hair. In September 2021, he discovered the beauty and power of his hair in a salon specializing in curly, coily, and kinky hair. It was a true revelation, and his passion has never left him since. Through this experience, he hopes to convey love and self-acceptance to people with this hair type.
At the same time, he is taking online courses as a self-taught artist.
Having lived in Brazil, he also had the opportunity to train in person with leading Brazilian hairdressers, curl specialists, such as Bia Hulmann and Natalys Sgoviah.
He also benefited from training in coloring techniques from American hairdressers, including Milena Rose and Cassie Covic.
In September 2021, he made an important decision: to interrupt his studies in agricultural and environmental engineering to fully pursue a career in hairdressing, by completing a vocational training certificate (CAP) as a work-study program.
