EMPOWERMENT PANEL: UNAPOLOGETICALLY BLACK / 1pm (2 HOURS) / 10€
Translated simultaneously to French

This panel will inspire young Afro-French women by highlighting experiences and journeys of excellence of the selected panelists, whether it is in activism, social engagement, journalism or entrepreneurship. Since the 1930’s, Paris has been the meeting place for black intellectuals and artists, whether they came from Africa, France, the United States, or the Caribbean- from Cesaire to Miles Davis, from Senghor to Richard Wright. Today, the world is going through dark times. Hate and discrimination seem to be taking over the ideological landscape. Therefore, it is imperative we unite our strengths and our collective intelligence to affirm our vey existence, identities, and willpower. Uniting all of this good will, whether it comes from the U.S., France, or Africa, should allow us to ensure the continuity of placing our relationship at the forefront. It is time to re-establish the connection.
